Happy are we who trust in the Lord

Though the tide of life ebb against us

Through pleasant times, through difficult times

Our joys we find in the Lord

The pressures we face might be great or small

But our hopes we keep alive

We know that Jesus will come some day

So we keep on pressing on

We sometimes feel sad and oft lose faith

When hard-pressed by our encounters each day

But the Word of God is a pure light

Which brightens up our day.
